The saving and use of a payment card in ABC mobile requires entering card-specific contact details (e.g. name, telephone number, e-mail address and card invoicing address). Card-specific contact information is collected so that the card issuer can verify the customer more strongly and prevent any misuse of payment transactions.
Card-specific contact details are prefilled with information from S Group’s co-op member and customer register, which the customer can modify for each card. The main contact details in S Group’s customer and co-op member register are not updated when adding card details. Instead, the card-specific contact details are an independent part of S Group’s co-op member and customer register.
The actual card details (card number, validity period or confirmation code) are not stored in S Group’s registers. S Group’s co-op member and customer register only has a technical key related to the card and the contact details mentioned above. The details of the payment card will be connected to the customer with a technical key.
