- 100th ABC-service station store opened in Ähtäri 03.06.2009
- ABC Ähtäri celebrated its grand opening May 28th, 2009. ABC and S-market are ready to serve its customers! ABC-service station store and separate S-market were finished on time. The new shopping centre created many new jobs and currently ABC Ähtäri employs 15 people and S-market 13. The total number of new employees is 14. In addition, the shopping centre offers 12 summer jobs.

- South Karelia’s Cooperative Enterprise opened a new ABC-service station store in Särkisalmi, in the city of Parikkala. The ceremony was conducted by the city’s municipal manager Hans Olander.

- Keula’s Cooperative Enterprise opened a new service station store in the intersection of Laitila’s Kauppakatu and highway number 8. The opening ceremony of the shopping centre was held on May 27, 2009. The ceremony was conducted by the chairman of Laitila’s town council and a member of Parliament Timo Kaunisto; SOK’s representative executive Risto Pyykkönen; and the chairman of Keula’s board of directors Aarto Jalava.
